A wise woman once wrote: “The dusty foliage and sticky LEGOs never disappoint.”
All joking aside, a school break favorite of my fellas is always the Rainforest Cafe +Legoland Discovery Center at Great Lakes Crossing. And it was honestly hard to tell who was more excited for our visit this year, my hubby or our boys.
We went on the weekend and the best advice I can give is this:
For Legoland:
- Buy your tickets online, as they weren’t allowing walk up ticket purchases.
- Get there first thing in the morning, as it’s far less crowded than the afternoon.
For the Rainforest Cafe:
- Make your reservation online. You can book through Open Table.
- If you’re unable to get a reservation, look for seats in the bar area, where its first come first serve.
