Our last day of break took us to Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills for lunch at The Rainforest Café (https://www.rainforestcafe.com/location/rainforest-cafe-auburn-hills-mi/) and LEGOLAND Discovery Center.

I’m not one to post about corporate chain restaurants, but there’s a little @justonebiteandsites tip in here for you.

And, well, it doesn’t get much more fun than eating at The Rainforest Cafe for a kid … or maybe even an adult too. 🐘🦁

The kids menu has everything a kid could want … mac and cheese, dinosaur nuggets and fun dessert options like the “lava mud” my youngest enjoyed. 🐛

It was a meatless Friday for me, so I ordered the coconut shrimp, which came with a delicious plum dipping sauce.

@justonebiteandsites tip: The bar area at The Rainforest Cafe is “first come, first serve” so if you find the wait is too long, which it almost always is, give it a try for immediate seating and happy kiddos.
